St Barnabas, the Apostle of Encouragement - this is an Audio Download of one of the chapters in Father's book, Seven Biblical Portraits.
A Levite from Cyprus, his actual name is Joseph but the Apostles call him Barnabas which means "son of encouragement". We learn from Father of the encouragement Barnabas gave to Paul and about their travels together to spread the Gospel.
In the Acts of the Apostles, Barnabas is called a "good man filled with faith and with the Holy Spirit". (Acts 11:23-24)
